1st Day of School 2010/2011

They boys were pretty excited about the first day of school this year. Unfortunately, since I have to leave before they do, I didn't get to experience any of their enthusiasm. Thankfully, Chris was willing to snap some pictures for me!

Jonathan is in 2nd grade, and Drew is in 1st grade. With the year half over, both boys have had a wonderful year. They are enjoying school for the most part, but they still do enjoy their snow days!

Drew's First Lost Tooth

Andrew finally lost his first tooth this past summer. He was so proud! To date, he has only lost two. His two top front teeth are loose, but I'm afraid we have a while before they come out.

Vacation

The four of us headed to the Outer Banks this past summer. It marked the first 'real' vacation for our family. We enjoyed a week at the beach and were able to relax and spend quality time together.

Birthdays 2010

Since we all have summer birthdays, I'll just lump them all into this one post.

Chris's birthday happened too, unfortunately I'm not sure I have any pictures. Sorry hon!

Baseball

Andrew played t-ball last season. He enjoyed playing the whole field, no matter which position he was assigned. Jonathan played coach pitch, and was normally assigned left-center. I saw tremendous improvement from both boys and we are anxiously awaiting another season of baseball. We'll start hitting the batting cages soon...

Bike Riding

Last spring was the first that Drew was willing to try riding a two-wheel bike. Thinking it would be easier for him, we took the boys to a parking lot to practice a few times. Now days, both boys zoom up and down the sidewalk like crazy men!

End of the School Year Programs

In 2010, both boys had special end of the year programs. Jonathan had an awards ceremony and Andrew had kindergarten graduation. I am so proud of both of them!
