On April 7, 2008 my first born lost his first tooth.
Jonathan's tooth had been loose for some time and we were anxiously awaiting the day when it would fall out. On this particular afternoon the three of us (the boys and I) were eating lunch when all of the sudden Jonathan got this really weird look on his face. I noticed the blood and rushed to his side, laughing and rejoicing over his newest milestone. It was slightly traumatic because of the blood involved but Jonathan soon felt super cool and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to come.
Some of his friends have received $5 for their beloved gems under their pillows but poor Jonathan only received $1. I hope he isn't scarred for life...
