Drew's Preschool Program

We were privileged to attend Andrew's Preschool Graduation on May 3rd. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. It's also hard for me to believe that he's headed for kindergarten next year.

If you are a faithful blog stalker, you'll remember my need to have the boys' lives planned out for them (and to be in control of what happens...remember the big blue bus???) Well, Drew was supposed to only attend preschool two days this school year then three next year. That would make the boys two years apart and Drew would also be one of the oldest kids in his grade (like Jonathan.)

After about a week in the Tuesday/Thursday program it became obvious that Drew was too advanced for what was being offered so we placed him in the three day a week program and threw out my plan...

I believe Drew is prepared for kindergarten and am excited for what he will experience. We've requested that Drew be placed with Jonathan's kindergarten teacher. She is incredible!

Congratulations Drew! I'm so proud of you!!!

The boy in the middle is one of Drew's best buddies at preschool. His name is Zach but everyone calls him Zachie.

Drew seems to be very proud of his masterpiece.

Both Drew and Jonathan were in Mrs. McKenna's class for their MWF preschool class.

Mrs. Csaki is one of the other preschool teachers.

We were all so fond of Drew's cap that we decided everyone needed a turn. After closer inspection I realized that the cap was made of heavy black card stock and a painted cool whip container. The tassel was made of yarn. Very creative!

With the drink in his hand and the look on his face, Jonathan could have passed for a drunk high school graduate...Wait, did I just type that???
